ABOUT ME
Where I want to take you:

Through my songs, I want to give you as listeners the opportunity to reflect yourselves and the path you have chosen. Is it still the right one for you or do you want to head into a different direction?

The years fly by faster and faster
because we are trapped in our jobs, in our everyday lives which mostly consist of work and obligations.
We need periods of rest in order to be able to find ourselves again.
Our lives are precious and may be over tomorrow.
I want to transport this awareness.

We should all detach from our daily routine every now and then and ask ourselves:
Is what I'm doing really me? Am I still following my dreams?

As time goes by we forget to listen to ourselves and our feelings and allow ourselves to be overwhelmed by external influences.

As a result, we lose the connection to our inner being because we have repressed it and flooded it with many unnecessary things

Through my music I want to create little breaks from everyday life,
the opportunity to take a deep breath and to intensely enjoy the small moments.

Once upon a time
(- it's been a long way)

My grandfather and I went for an afternoon walk because my parents were away on business.
At the edge of a park, we passed a large round church with a high tower, which I really wanted to enter.
I sat down in one of the front pews next to the beautifully painted stained glass windows,
through which the sunlight lit up the room and started singing a song, just for me.
That made me happy.

I always just wanted to sing. I dreamed away with it.

After school, however, everything came to a standstill-
suddenly everything was different.

Something happened that
changed my life from one day to the next.
It threw me off track, hit the big red stop button,
slowed me down and brought me to a halt.

It made me realize how precious life is and how quickly it can be over.
That`s why I longed for the feeling of "being in the moment, living".

I was able to enjoy these moments intensely at concerts.

I took lots of timer myself and went to see
"The Hooters" in concert.

When the doors opened, only a few spectators moved to the stage,
so I happily ran across the square, straight to the front row.

The band of 6 captivated me from the first note with their songs,
the great arrangements and their amazing voices.
They didn't just stand behind their instruments but often moved right up to the edge of the stage.

There was an incredible energy in the room, I was in the moment and in the music
and I felt and celebrated this zest for life.
It was like being part of the band - even though I was just a person in the room.
I stood in front of singer/keyboardist/songwriter Rob Hyman,
and imitated some hand movements
Normally this is not noticeable in the crowd...

After the concert, when I went to get autographs out of sheer enthusiasm,
he just said to me,"I saw you".

A few concerts later he shook my hand from the stage and thanked me for having travelled to so many concerts to see the band.

He said it motivated him to give even more - since I already knew the show.

Of course, from my point of view, every concert is different and unique.

Years later there was a unique opportunity for collaboration:

Eric Bazilian, songwriter and producer of the "Hooters" gave a songwriting workshop
in Salzburg I was there.
We worked on my song "Friends".
Eric then recorded it and accompanied me on guitar..
It was an absolute honor and incredibly fantastic experience.
This gave me the impulse and encouragement me to continue my musical journey.

I am eternally grateful to Eric, Rob and all the band members and crew of "The Hooters"
for the respect and appreciation over the years - they have changed my life.
